Little Buds Childcare

At Little Buds we WELCOME all children and their families and the team challenge all discriminative language and behaviour.

Admissions

In order to register your child you must complete a Little Buds registration form. When we receive the form the Nursery Manager will go through the child’s registration form to ensure we have all the information we need about your child. There may be a waiting list and as soon as we receive the completed form they will automatically be put onto the list. Parents will be contacted by the manager prior to their child starting to discuss pre visits and a start date. Parents will be asked to complete an All About Me document for their child. This helps the nursery staff learn more about your child and allows us to support your child appropriately when starting nursery.

3-4 year olds - wrap-around care availble or if your child is entitled to recieve the nursery grant this can be claimed through Little Buds. To find out more information speak to the nursery manager.

4-6 yr old children - Little Buds provides breakfast and after school care for children who attend Lydiate primary school. School holiday care can also be provided if booked in advance.

Wraparound children’s places are only secure during term time. If childcare is required during school holidays booking is required. We do suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment although if you book your place and do not attend payment is still required. Booking Forms are available.

Children from 9mths to 2yrs- who attend sessions or full daycare in this room are registered to attend all year round and full payment is required if absent.

Short settling in visit fees – Transition from home to nursery or from one nursery to another nursery causes change in your child’s life and although all children experience changes throughout their early years it is important to make them as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Little Buds staff encourage you take up these pre starting visits allowing your child to settle into their new routine and environment. The amount of visits your child will need before starting will depend on the individual child and family. Daily feedback will be given to families after each visit allowing us to plan further visits or set start date. These short visits allow your child to feel safe and secure in the nursery and parents feel confident and happy that their child is happy and settled.

Fees

Invoices are sent out at the beginning of every month.

No fees are required when Little Buds is closed except on Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period when Little Buds closes for 2wks, full fee will be required from all registered children.

Fees must be paid on the first of each month; fees can be paid by cheque, standing order, debit card or cash.

Fees paid using debit cards with a 50p handling charge.

Please be aware if you are behind with your fees this is how we will require you to pay to bring fees immediately up to date.

Please inform the manager on how you will be paying your childcare fees.

We also accept childcare vouchers.

No paper vouchers, electronic only

Use child’s name as a reference

Allow at least a week from the date of transaction for it to show as paid on your invoice.

If you go into arrears with your childcare fees action will be taken and this may result in loss of childcare place.

If you have any difficulty in paying your fees on time please don’t hesitate to speak to Amy Warnick the Nursery Manager to arrange some flexibility of payment.
